Conversation with Stephanie Dickson - Tribe Building Like a BOSS

Following last week’s episode, this week we have a very special guest with tribe-building rockstar Stephanie Dickson, Founder of The Wedge Asia and Green Is The New Black to share her journey of building a killer conscious community and tribe here in Singapore and beyond!

But first let me take a few moments to formally introduce you to those who are just tuning in….

Stephanie is a marketer, event organiser and avid connector of conscious individuals and brands. She is the founder of The Wedge Asia, a leading platform that connects conscious brands with conscious people through a series of events. They are building a community for people who want to live more consciously by providing bite-sized information through their three slices of Inspiration, knowledge and action.

She also founded Singapore's Green Is The New Black Asia’s first conscious festival for people who want to #LiveMoreConsciously by improving the way they think, work and consume while doing more good in the world. This is a place where fun and social environmental responsibility go hand in hand.

Stephanie has been organising events and experiences for as long as she can remember. Previously she spent four years working for an international events and marketing agency, planning luxury events and fashion weeks around the region. That is until recently when the entrepreneurial life beckoned.

She is regularly asked to conduct talks on designing meaningful events, the conscious movement and is a TEDx speaker.

She hosts a weekly video series on Green Is The New Black TV, where she interviews conscious-prenurs who are making change in their industries and are doing good.

Stephanie is fascinated by other people and is always seeking new experiences. Human interaction and connection is what drives her and the business.

Now, Stephanie I want to thank you again for being here tonight and for being such a great supporter of The Change School and our initiatives as this would be the second time you’re contributing to CSTV since your first talk on Education - Cultivating The Mind as part of our 2016 TCK Summit… cos you’re a Third-Culture Kid too - if I can get this right: you’re Australian-Scottish but spent most of your life in Asia… did I get that right?

1. Maybe you can share a bit more on that and how you came to be such a tribe building BOSSLADY!

2. Now you’ve come along way since you started up here in Singapore - can you walk us through your journey

and maybe share more about The Wedge and GITB?

3. What are some lessons and tips you can share with our viewers tonight about tribe building - creating

meaningful connections around shared values/causes that drive people to take real action - and what that

experience has been like for you

4. Any final tips?

So if you guys want to get your hands on Stephanie’s PRO Tips for Tribe Building, you can snag this week’s free TIP SHEET at and that’ll also be available inside our Blog Recap at int the next day or so.
